Hi, I am Dean DuVall; owner of High Country Wildlife Control of Montana. I love this question I am often asked. Why High Country Wildlife Control? And one must consider the old adage; does "you get what you pay for" still apply? Absolutely. Last year 2018, a ranch owner called me to advise the situation where he paid a company to address a ground squirrel problem on 30,000 acres. He advised that he spent over 20k and that the company attempted mitigation late July thru mid August, He stated that the ground squirrel issue ceased to exist and that in September he observed the exact same level of ground squirrels to be present; wondering how all that money he spent seemed to have accomplished nothing. What a tragedy. As a hiring agent, this gentleman was taken advantage of. Why? Lack of experience and lack of effective methods approaching a serious large scale project. The company mentioned to me will remain unnamed. Wildlife Control and Pest Control is a serious business. You absolutely must understand the life cycle of every pest you are controlling in Montana. Ground squirrels enter a summer hibernation phase in the hot summer months remaining dormant; and will lead the uninformed persons to believe they are non-existent. You cannot control or manage a ground squirrel population during this time. On this particular customer's property, rodenticides were ultimately most likely consumed by a non-target species and money invested on mitigation was wasted.

Time and time again, we are called through references to handle Pest Control mice issues and take over service from other companies. I am appalled by the methods and devices used to manage mice infestations. Almost 100% of the time, companies will utilize the same devices placed at customer locations; service call the location monthly; and (so-called "clean the devices" removing dead mice). I'm sorry, that is completely unsanitary. Companies will also enter into partnerships "only using" certain devices, ultimately utilizing very inexpensive mediocre devices; managing accounts.

This is where level of service is defined wide-scale in the industry; and what sets High Country Wildlife Control aside from the rest. As the owner of High Country Wildlife Control, I demand and maintain; that we deliver the absolute best knowledgeable customer service; send out all devices to be professional santitized replacing devices with clean devices monthly; utilize the most technogically advanced devices replaced yearly; and that all operators are highly trained. I instill in all employees that the customer is always right; and that they must be happy. Period.

We do not require any contracts. We don't have to. If a customer is not happy, we do what we have to do to cause them to be satisfied. In the end, there is no need for a contract. And that is why we never lose busniess or accounts. There is not an animal or pest in the State of Montana that we do not have intimate knowledge on how to address and control. The High Country Wildlife Control goal is to identify; and manage your problem; and do so in a manner or with method as to receive no further complaints. The resulting conversation when we touch base; is that your problem ceases to exist and is alleviated or controlled. I ask all my customers to hold me to it.

Don't settle for anything less. High Country Wildlife Control of Montana is Montana's Premier Nuisance Wildlife and Pest Control Specialists.
